Executive Bio – KEN LAUTZENHEISER

Director of Partner Sales BCN

Ken Lautzenheiser currently serves as a Director of Partner Sales at BCN, a privately held communications technology solutions provider.  BCN has the flexibility and experience to address every customer need uniquely, creating tailored solutions based on the portfolios of over 100 wholesale network and technology partners.  For over 29 years, BCN has delivered best-in-class solutions domestically and internationally to business customers.  With over 25 years in the telecom industry, Ken has served in sales, quality assurance, process re-engineering, quality assurance and product management positions.

Ken is also a co-founder of Fabulous Faiths Foundation.  It was founded after Ken, his wife and their family experienced the loss of their 10-year-old daughter to pediatric cancer.  The mission of Fabulous Faith’s Foundation is to end the suffering caused by pediatric cancer by supporting cancer research, affected families, providers, and facilities, while promoting awareness and hope that a cure will be found.

Ken earned both his BBA and MBA in marketing and had the wonderful experience of being a military brat as the son of a 27-year veteran of the U.S. Army.  This not only allowed the ability to move around the U.S., but spent time in Germany as well, where he visited many countries during his time there.  When not working, Ken enjoys spending time with his family, watching college football, and playing with their 3 dogs.

Roderick Lemon is the Founder and President of AHRMDCO International, LLC. For over 20 years, he has been an energized leader committed to exemplifying the characteristics and habits of success that he shares and infuses as part of the corporate philosophy of his organization. This type of magnetic leadership positioned the organization to capture several business accolades and awards throughout the years. He is particularly proud of the firm capturing the E-10 and the Supplier of the Year Award presented by the Houston Minority Supplier Development Council. This is the highest honor that can be placed on a Minority Business Enterprise in the Houston Texas area. AHRMDCO has been featured in such publications as the Houston Business Journal and Minority Business News Texas for their contributions and leadership in the business and diverse business communities. AHRMDCO was awarded the National Minority Supplier of the Year by the National Minority Supplier Development Council in 2015, being selected out of twenty- two thousand firms eligible. AHRMDCO service contract division is a member of the International Sanitary Standards Association (ISSA) and currently maintains a Cleaning Industry Management Standards Certification with Honors. (CIMS GB with Honors)

Most recently Lemon has been instrumental in providing Program Management Consulting for prime suppliers of METRO Houston to assist primes in meeting, and/or exceeding their goals or SDBE expenditures and participation on respective METRO projects.

Since creating AHRMDCO, Lemon has facilitated several developmental classes such as: leadership development, time management strategies, and customer service excellence – exceeding the customers’ expectations, executive coaching, process improvement, youth leadership, supervisor and management development. An advocate for diverse business enterprises Lemon believes in guiding those businesses to
the pinnacle of success through dedication and hard work.

AHRMDCO operations expand far beyond the borders of Texas and extend east into the Southeast region of the US. Lemon has adapted a philosophy of fluidity as it pertains to his company. Staying up to speed with the latest business management practices, Lemon completed HR Essentials Certification – Rice University, alumni of the Executive Business Management Program – Dartmouth University – Tuck
School of Business, a proud alumnus of the University of Maryland, where he earned a degree in Management Psychology. Lemon is a member of International Executive Housekeeper Association (IEHA) and maintains a RESE and GBAC Certifications. The AHRMDCO corporate philosophy emphasizes the development of an employer’s most important asset, its employees. Committed to volunteerism AHRMDCO participates in feeding the homeless during the holidays, collects and donates clothes to those less fortunate, and mentoring at-risk youth. Lemon is actively involved in organizations dedicated to the enrichment of youth in his home state of AL where he administers a youth leadership program for at-risk youth. Executive Bio – FERN JOHNSON

Fern Johnson is the VP, Sector CTO & Delivery at PepsiCo. She has a valuable blend of business, transformation management, operations, and technology experience. Fern has extensive leadership in delivering and supporting technology solutions that align with businesses overall growth objectives. She has held senior positions across PepsiCo for over 15 years now.

For her entire career, Fern has been an active leader within PepsiCo’s diversity equity and inclusion journey.

She currently sits on several nonprofit boards, nationally and within her local Dallas community.

Executive Bio – NIKIA HOLLAND

ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF CLEVELAND VETERAN HUB 2023 BOARD OF DIRECTORS Firm

Nikia Holland currently serves as an Assistant Vice President of Finance at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, where she focuses on overseeing the financials for the Bank’s Treasury Services (a technology services) division.

With over 20 years in the banking industry, Nikia lends her expertise in compliance and financial management to helping organizations manage down risks and maintain sound controls.  She has received numerous accolades throughout her career, including the prestigious Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland’s 2020 President’s Award and the 2020 Spirit of Innovation Award for her work in supporting diversity and inclusion.

When she’s not working, Nikia is an avid photographer and enjoys volunteering in her Houston community.

Executive Bio – PETER BROWN

ACCOUNTING OFFICER MICHAEL E . DEBAKEY VAMC VETERAN HUB BOARD OF DIRECTORS

My name is Peter Brown. I am originally from Sunflower, Alabama. I am the youngest of seven children. I enlisted in the United States Navy two weeks after graduating high school. It was one of the best decisions of my life. I served in Desert Storm and Desert Shield, receiving the NAVY UNIT COMMENDATION, SOUTHWEST ASIA MEDAL W/2BRONZE STARS, KUWAIT LIBERATION MEDAL(KUWAIT), KUWAIT LIBERATION MEDAL(SAUDIA ARABIA). After my four-year commitment, I was honorably discharged and decided to further my education. I relocated to New Orleans where I attended Southern University at New Orleans. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Accounting. I worked in the private sector for a short while, but my passion was to help veterans. I applied for an accountant position and was hired for the job. I worked at the New Orleans VA for two years before Hurricane Katrina. After Katrina, I relocated to the Michael E. DeBakey VAMC in Houston. I am the Accounting Officer overseeing a staff of 15 accountants. I am proud to say I have proudly served the nation’s veterans for the past twenty years. As of August 18, 2023, I received my Master of Divinity.  I have been an Ordained Elder for the past 15 years. I aim to help the total man physically, emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually. On a personal note, I enjoy spending time with my family, I love to travel, I love college football, and I love volunteering and helping people.
