Military Transition doesn’t happen overnight. The situational change is easy. You change jobs. You change where you live. You change industries, but Transition is all mental. You have to transition the way you think about yourself and others in the change. You have to transition your skills and adopt new ones that are of value in the change. You have to transition your
vocabulary to better communicate with new teammates in the change. Additionally there isn’t just one correct way to transition. It varies greatly depending on the needs and desires of each individual. It is part of what makes it so difficult.
